It's while you are getting ready when you go through a wide range of emotions. You laugh, you cry, you feel excited and you go through everything else in between. It is absolutely normal and healthy to feel something like that. There are many kinds of details, fleeting gestures and attitudes that give photos warmth and intimacy.

There are a couple of things that you should keep in mind; firstly, while you are getting ready, you don't need to pose. We will capture the real emotions during the natural course of events. Secondly, getting ready in some natural light can get some beautiful portraits as the makeup, hair and the dress are in mint condition. A natural nervousness only adds charm! Your wedding day comes once in a lifetime. The time that you spend getting ready for your wedding is a big deal. You want to be somewhere beautiful, relaxing and with enough room for everyone who is going to be there with you. Trying to fit every one in a crowded space can make things chaotic. Thirdly, make sure that you hire a professional hair & make-up artist who understand the difference between an every day look and what you will want on your wedding day. You’ll have these photos for the rest of your life and you would definitely want to look your absolute best!

Chat with your photographer to make a list of your closest family and friends you will want in your family and group photos. This will help your wedding photographer prioritize and source appropriate locations within the venue, so you won’t have wandering guests photo-bombing last minute.

And most importantly make sure you have fun at your wedding!

What Brides have to say:

Warm, charming and immensely talented sums up the lovely Aayushi and Kanishka from The Wedding Salad. I took a gamble and hired this young and bubbly duo for my wedding and wow it paid off. Thank you girls for making Rohit and I relive our wedding through such a wonderful story. We are so glad we both of you capturing all the smiles, tears, laughter and the moments we were not there to see.

You'll have gone out of your way to over deliver and exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for all the hard work and for creating such stunning photographs and videos. You both are not only talented and professional but also fun to work with and now friends for life :). We value and treasure your work.

Thanks, Xoxo,

Neha

When I had to decide on a wedding photographer for my wedding, I just happened to chance upon Wedding Salad. And honestly, the name itself was enough to suggest there was something about Aayushi & Kanishka. They were a bundle of energy like girls on Redbull, extremely fun and easy to get along with. They understood and bonded with my family as one of my friends would have. How else can you manage to maneuver yourself on a mandap stage jam-packed with 80 relatives and capture those special moments? Over Haldi, Mehendi & the actual wedding, they went from being my wedding photographers to friends. Thanks Aayushi & Kanishka for the magic in megapixels!

I don’t have to tell you how good a job The Wedding Salad did, I think the photos stand as proof for that! Not only have they made us appear a lot more beautiful than we actually are, but they were extremely professional and focussed all the time! I recommend them to every new couple ready to tie the knot and looking for professional photographers.
