Bridal Beauty Queries answered by The Nature's Co.

It is always said that Natural products are most beneficial for your skin whilst causing least harm or allergic reactions. We decided to explore this fact by talking to Natasha Shah, Founder, The Nature's Co., which specializes in natural beauty products. Brides are especially recommended these products to avoid any skin hazards before their D-Day!

Q1. How are natural products different from other brands of beauty products sold in the market?

Natasha Shah: Natural products are everything that Mother Nature has provided us with –these are not altered chemically or synthesized in any form. Some people prefer natural because they believe excessive processing of items disturbs their health benefits. It’s eventually a matter of choice whether one would like to go for natural items or chemically laden ones.

Q2. What are some special products from your range that Brides-to-be can use prior to their wedding for a natural glowing skin?

Natasha Shah: A must have product for Brides to be is the Corn Exfoliating Face pack-which gives an instant glow and brightens dull looking skin.

Apart from this from the wellness category the Lemongrass Eye pillow and the Lemongrass Essential Aroma for Oil Diffusers is what will relax and calm the anxiety of the bride to be.

Q3. What exactly do you mean by Pre Bridal Body, Skin & Hair Consultation, what does it entail and how does it help the bride?

Natasha Shah: A pre bridal body, skin and hair treatment should start atleast 2 months in advance of the D Day. It involves body polishing, which removes dead skin and makes her skin even, clearer and soft. A 3-4 sessions of manicure and pedicure that make her feet and hands clean and soft. Facial treatments depending on her skin condition and also deep conditioning hair treatments with oil and hair packs and deep conditioning creams that de-stresses the bride, makes her tresses manageable and silky.

Q4. Is there a specific routine & diet you suggest that helps enhance overall health of skin & hair apart from just using products?

Natasha Shah: Below are some foods to eat and avoid to get good skin and hair

Start your day by having luke warm water adding a little lemon would spritz up the drink. This helps you to detoxify.

Eat light meals and in moderate quantities. Follow a two hourly diet.

Avoid eating outside too much –stay away from oily, fried and spicy food.

Consume a lot of vitamins in form of fruits and vegetables.

Drink atleast 8 to 10 glasses of water to help to flush away toxins from your body.

A 45 minutes work out regime would also add the extra spark on your face and make you feel fresh and energetic.

Follow the 3-step process of Cleansing, toning and moisturizing daily.

Use a gently exfoliator to remove unwanted dead skin, atleast once a week.

Q5. Can you suggest specific products for brides with oily skin and those with dry skin?

Natasha Shah: For Brides with Oily Skin, use a beauty pack such a fuller’s earth to remove excess oil and leave skin with an instant glow. This pack can be mixed with the Natures Co. Rose mist, which also helps to tighten the pores and has a refining effect on the skin.

For Brides with Dry Skin: Ensure to moisturize your skin with Body butters such as The Nature's Co. Nori Body Butter, Irish Moss Body Butter, Bitter Almond Body Butter that will leave your skin smooth, supple and baby like.
