With brides and grooms becoming more involved in the design and execution process for the wedding invites, a lot more youthful and eclectic cards are in our mailboxes. From monochromes to neons, it's all about the colour to take the lead.
While the classic earthy and pastel tones will always remain a staple, more couples are experimenting with brights. It definitely adds a much needed punch on the Indian wedding scene.
Laser cuts are also gaining popularity with their intricate and delicate detailing. Other trends to watch out for are geometrical, clean lines and attention to detail.
Syd and Rohini’s – Save the Date
This Save the date has been designed as a flowchart of their love story. The colours and the patterns used in the background are very Indian yet with a youthful twist.
Bhavika’s Wedding Card
The card for Bhavika is a more traditional design in bright and fun colours. We wanted to keep the look ethnic without too much clutter. The end result was a happy and joyous celebration.
Pawar’s Wedding Card
The card for the Pawars is a classic design in neutral colours. The brief was simple and classy but yet striking. Complemented with exquisite paper, the final product was perfect.
RPG Pre-Wedding Party invite
This wedding invite was for a pre-wedding party held to celebrate the new life of the couple hosted by their friends. It was a Mediterranean theme party; hence the use of a blue textured background. It is a tri-fold card and does not need an envelope.
Meghna & Rohans Wedding card
A simple wedding card with inserts used in bright Indian colours. A laser cut done on the jacket of the card.
Kamal and Deepa’s Wedding Card
A well coordinated wedding invite between the bride and the groom with only the change in the colour. A beautiful jaali work done on the cover to to show the colours of the inserts.
Nipun Kejriwals Wedding Card
A beautiful raw silk card combined with simple inserts with edgy work on the side of each insert which looks like a kaleidoscope when all the inserts combined.
It's simple delicate and one of its kind.

This was one of our favourites for an Indian based in New York. The client wanted her card to reflect the beauty and elegance of Kanjeevaram Sarees. Hence, we made patterns and designs similar to those seen on sarees.
