Recommended Pre-bridal Treatments before your Wedding
Every bride wants to look her best on her wedding day, but wedding shopping and preparations can take a toll on your health and beauty. It is important to indulge in a few pampering pre-bridal treatments, both to relax yourself, and to tackle any skin and hair related problems that you may be having. And remember, ideally, pre-bridal sessions should begin 4-6 weeks before the wedding, and most of the following treatments/therapies can be repeated more than once.
Planning a wedding can take a toll on your feet. Wedding preparations/shopping may need you to run from one place to another, keeping you on your feet for long. Put your best foot forward, get a relaxing pedicure done every 1-2 weeks. It is important to indulge in pedicures to keep the feet looking clean and shiny. Get a pedicure done at the salon every 2 weeks, and in between salon-pedicures, treat your feet at home.
In the evening, take out some time, dip your feet in warm water (you can add some milk and rose petals too) for 10-15 minutes. Scrape off dead skin from the heels using a pumice stone, scrub your feet and dry them with a towel. Apply liberal amount of foot cream, and wear cotton socks before going to bed.
Full body treatments such as skin bleach (to remove tan), exfoliation (to remove dead skin), sauna bath (to eliminate toxins) and massage (to keep the skin shiny) should be included in your regime every 2-3 weeks to keep your skin shiny and supple. Every day, after shower, remember to apply a good body butter to your skin to keep it nourished between salon treatments.
Regular hot oil massage for scalp and hair, along with a hair spa every 2-3 weeks will keep your hair nourished, shiny and damage free.
Specialized skin treatments such as Dermabrasion, Glycolic Peel etc. can be made use of, but only under the strict supervision of a Dermatologist.
Dental spa, for the smile is the gateway to many a hearts. Add dazzle to your wedding photographs by getting those pearly whites. A beautiful smile goes a long way in boosting the confidence of a bride for posing for pictures. Visit your Dentist at least twice before the wedding, and get the required dental procedures and treatments done well in advance.
And last but not the least, eat a healthy balanced diet and drink lots of water during the day to eliminate toxins from the body.
