Aman & Anjali's 'Dilli' Wedding by Dkreate Photography

It is every girl’s dream to have a perfect fairy-tale wedding. Or maybe we are just vain and want something which at least looks like a perfect fairy-tale wedding and the bride nothing less than a princess. It is amazing how we pay attention to ever little detail – the flowers, the decorations, the wedding trousseau, the elaborate menu, the makeup, the jewelry, the milni envelopes, arti ki thaali!

Now imagine if after 10 years when you are looking through your wedding album, all that attention to details is just lost in the clichéd smile-pose-click-Kodak pictures! Wouldn't that be a waste! Because come on, we all want to look back and believe that we had the most beautiful wedding ever!! So isn't it ridiculous how we often neglect the most important aspect of the wedding – photography!

Real Indian Wedding by DKreate Photography From the photographers...

Anjali contacted me through one of our common friends. As she stayed in USA, We couldn't meet her beforehand. We had a lot of discussions regarding how our team works and what all we would provide to her as a part of wedding photography. We regularly had phone discussions regarding each and every detail about her wedding. So, everything looked familiar on the day when we first met her.

The day we arrived was the mehendi and ladies sangeet, which was done in their home itself. The next day was the big day when there was a small puja in the morning and the wedding in the evening.

We tagged along with the bride as she was getting ready at a very well known beauty parlor in Delhi. She was pretty excited, yet nervous about how well everything would go. And somehow, she wasn't happy with what the lady had done to her. We kept clicking her pictures, showing her the same and kept telling her that she made the most gorgeous bride. This made her quite normal and she seemed to relax.

We reached the venue before the baraat started from a nearby place to the hotel. So, after clicking some family pictures, we went ahead to click the baraat and the welcoming of the groom. The jaimala took place, followed by dinner. We kept on clicking candid pictures of the guests & friends till the start of the wedding.

All in all, a great experience for us and the couple and their family were very happy after seeing the pictures.

Real Indian Wedding by DKreate Photography The Bride speaks...

I know in most middle class families, getting a wedding photographer is nowhere on the priority list. But I was different. I wanted to get a photographer who would capture the most candid moments, someone who would immortalize the little details which I painstakingly planned for months, someone who would not ask me to pose with my henna clad hands close to my face making me feel stupid, someone who would rather just steal the laughs, and the tears effortlessly on his camera. I basically wanted someone who could make everything look just perfect..... And I am so glad I chose Team DKreate.

My wedding was in Delhi and I decided to fly Team DKreate in from Mumbai. My family and my fiance thought I was being very unreasonable and why I couldn't choose a photographer from Delhi. But trust me after seeing my wedding pictures, they knew exactly why! Team DKreate was the best decision about my wedding planning. My wedding pictures are gorgeous and every moment is so beautifully captured. They could not cover my cocktail/sangeet due to some logistics and that is one thing I am going to regret for the rest of my life. I look at my cocktail pictures taken by a regular photographer and I always wonder how they would have looked like if Team DKreate's magic was there! I so wish I could turn back time and have him cover my cocktail function. Haha... I have lost count of the number of friends/acquaintances who contacted me after seeing my wedding pictures on Facebook. Everyone wanted to know about my photographer because they hadn't seen such beautiful wedding pictures before!

Thank you Team DKreate, for making my wedding look like a dream wedding, for making me look so beautiful (yes, I am vain), and for giving me a lifetime of memories that I can proudly show off! You are the best!
