The special offering for the brides of the season is in keeping with the design philosophy of Vinayak Couture (their couture label). In the wide offering as a brand, the impeccable craftsmanship and a precise use of textiles reflect a deep understanding of local traditions. As they hone age old-techniques and skills to match contemporary needs, they help reinvent the glorious past through their innovative vision. Asha & Gautam Gupta
The design aesthetic of Asha and Gautam Gupta is recognized by luxe-loving Indians—from actors Prachi Desai and Kalki Koechlin to Sonal Chauhan and Tulip Joshi—who are prepared to patiently wait for a Bandhini lehenga embellished with moti and stone work or a Petitpoint embroidery lehenga with sequins and cut dana from the master couturiers. Asha started the label in 1998 as a simple hobby soon grew into a fierce passion and love for design. Gautam took over the reins in 2003 and injected new energy into the brand's classic oeuvre. He also enrolled in NIFT for formal education in Fashion. He launched his own label “AUTRE” an aesthetic western wear label in 2011.'' He is a member of Fashion Design Council of India and participated in WILLS INDIA FASHION WEEK.
